Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy describes how GenImage (“GenImage”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and AI image and video generation service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication details (for example, when you log in with a third-party provider such as Google).
  • Content you submit. Prompts, reference images, and other inputs you provide, along with the images and videos you generate.
  • Payment information. Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store your full card details; Paddle, as Merchant of Record, collects and processes payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive limited details such as your plan, transaction status, and billing country.
  • Usage and device data. Technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and feature usage, collected to operate and improve the Service.
  • Analytics and cookies. We use cookies and analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • generate and deliver the content you request;
  • process subscriptions, credits, and payments;
  • communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we process your information on the basis of performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service — for example, cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing (Paddle), authentication, and analytics — under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • Legal and safety recipients, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of GenImage, our users, or others;
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below).

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@genimage.art. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review it periodically.

11. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal information, contact us at support@genimage.art or visit our Contact page.

We use cookies to run GenImage and, with your consent, to measure usage via analytics. See our Privacy Policy.
